The fiber length tester can basically meet the requirements of the textile industry, commercial fiber testing and national cotton quality testing agencies use fast and accurate testing methods to determine the upper half average length (HAL), average length (AL), short fiber ratio (SFR) and regularity index (RI) of cotton fiber samples.

 

Fiber Length Tester Features

The fiber length tester are based on the random distribution of cotton fibers that exist in nature, and are also based on the negative correlation between the number of fibers in the "detection of the sample facet" and the luminous intensity of the method by this method.
Some fibers are randomly captured from the cotton tape as a detection sample with a special combination, and the sample is scanned from bottom to top, while the results of luminous intensity are recorded, and finally the results are sent to the PC and software, all of which form the whole process of instrument operation. The software will process the result data to provide fibro graph curves and calculate the HAL, AL, SFR, and RI of the sample.
