The ICI Mace Snag Tester is with 4 stations and is suitable for detecting knitted fabrics, woven fabrics and other fabrics that are easy to hook, especially chemical fiber filaments and textured yarn fabrics.

The tester places a hammer suspended by a chain around the guide rod on the surface of the sample covered in the drum. When the drum rotates at a constant speed for a certain number of times, the sample is removed and graded according to the rating graph in the rating box.
