Product Introduction

The ST-MLST02 micro-leak non-destructive seal tester is specially designed for non-destructive seal integrity testing of injectable products such as ampoules, vials, pre-filled syringes and infusion bags, as well as rigid and flexible packaging containers. We can provide customized testing solutions and tailor-made test chambers according to customers’ specific injectable products, fully meeting leakage detection requirements for solid and liquid contents.


2. Product Features

  1. Equipped with a 7-inch color touch screen and intelligent data processing system; real-time test curve display and automatic data statistics.
  2. Dual-sensor measurement principle: vacuum decay (standard) and positive pressure decay (optional), used to detect pressure and time variations.
  3. Adopts trace-level pressure sensors to capture tiny pressure fluctuations.
  4. Imported pneumatic components and pressure sensors ensure stable and reliable performance.
  5. Supports multi-stage preset vacuum levels for gradient testing.
  6. Fully automatic test process: the unit automatically terminates testing and judges pass/fail results.

  12. Low-elasticity, high-hardness rubber coating at the bottom of pneumatic compression mechanism of upper cover.

3. Working Principle

This non-destructive seal tester operates based on ASTM F2338 Vacuum Decay Method.

Place the specimen into a tightly fitted customized test chamber (custom chambers deliver higher resolution due to minimal clearance between chamber and sample). The external vacuum pump evacuates the chamber to a preset vacuum level and then stops automatically. After a stabilization period, the absolute/vacuum sensor continuously monitors the pressure rise (vacuum decay) within a set time window. If the pressure rise exceeds the threshold, the sample is determined to have leakage.
