Why use Haze and Gloss Meter GM-2000?

Gloss - measures the percentage of reflected light. HAZE - The optical effect caused by poor dispersion of pigments in coatings, which results in a milky appearance of the microstructure, is called haze.
Phenomenon: haze is a unique phenomenon on medium to high gloss surfaces. The medium to high gloss surface with small textures generates low intensity scattered light in the direction close to the main reflected light, but most of the incident light is reflected in a mirror image, making the surface appear to have high gloss, but the image has haze. The lower the hazereading, the better the surface quality.
High quality surfaces are expected to have a clear and brilliant appearance. Micro structures can cause a milky appearance and is often caused by production parameters like resin type, degree of dispersion or application process. Haze and gloss meter can help for the brilliant quality of samples.
