Product Description

The Schildknecht Type Flex Tester is used to evaluate reciprocating fatigueresistance performance of leather and coated fabrics (rubber / plasticcoated textile). It complies with ISO 7854 Method B, BS 34249 and GB/T 12586 (Method B) and BS 3424-9.

Working Principle
A rectangular specimen of coated fabric is wrapped around two opposite cylindrical supports to form a tubular sample. One cylinder performs linear reciprocating axial movement, making the tubular specimen undergo alternate compression and relaxation without twisting action. The test runs until preset cycles are completed or visible cracking / delamination / coating peeling occurs on the specimen.
