Product Introduction

Adopting thermal compression sealing testing principle, HSPT-01 heat seal tester is used to measure key heat sealing parameters including heat seal pressure, temperature and time of flexible packaging laminated films, plastic film substrates, coated paper and other heat-sealable composite films. It is an indispensable testing instrument for laboratories, scientific research institutes and on-site production lines.

1. Application Fields

Classification Material Type Application Description
Basic Application Film Materials Conduct heat seal tests on various plastic films, plastic composite films, paper-plastic composite films, co-extruded films, aluminized films, aluminum foils and aluminum foil composite films. The sealing surface is flat and smooth, and the sealing width can be customized as required.
Extended Application Plastic Hoses Place the tail of plastic hose between upper and lower sealing jaws to heat-seal the hose tail to form an enclosed packaging container.
Extended Application Jelly Cup Lids Place jelly cups into the opening of the lower sealing jaw (the opening matches the outer diameter of jelly cups, and the flanged rim of cup mouth rests on the edge of the opening). The upper jaw is circular; lower the jaw to complete heat sealing of jelly cups. (Custom accessories required)

2. Test Principle

Heat seal materials with different melting points, thermal stability, fluidity and thickness present distinct heat sealing performance, with drastically different optimal sealing process parameters.
This tester adopts thermal compression sealing method: place test samples between upper and lower heating jaws, complete sealing under preset temperature, pressure and dwell time. By performing sealing tests under varied temperature, pressure and time combinations, accurate heat sealing performance indicators can be obtained with supporting testing equipment.
